About:China Visa

Itinerary

U.S. passport holder living in Hong Kong.
Would like to visit Shenzhen for a day. Or maybe another day trip for another time.
Question: best to apply a single visa x 2 times or multiple?
Question: Is it necessary to write a hotel if only day trip? or is it acceptable to write shopping eating cultural visits ?

If applying in advance, it is better to apply for a multiple-entry visa. If only one day, the hotel is not necessary.

However, you can also apply for a 5-day Shenzhen visa-on-arrival at Shekou, Huanggang, and Luohu Ports, which is more convenient.
