About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Emergency travel + passport expired

Hi there, I’m in Brisbane and I need to travel back to Hong Kong quite urgently due to family reasons, however, my passport expired. Can I apply for a temporary passport to return to HK while I’m submitting an online application for my new passport?

It is better to contact the embassy to renew your passport via a green channel.
