About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise

I am an Egyptian passport holder. I will be on a cruise ship that will depart from Hong Kong and arrive in Shanghai on the last day of the cruise. I will then fly from Shanghai to the United Arab Emirates. This means that I will be staying in Shanghai for less than 24 hours. Am I eligible for a 24-hour visa?

If your itinerary is:

Hong Kong - Shanghai - UAE

And you do not have any other stops of any kind between the places you have presented, you will be definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Shanghai and you do not need any kind of visa.

Please, just use correct terminology because this is not 24 hour visa, but 24 hour visa free transit, so there is no visa of any kind at all.
