About:Do I Need A Visa for Guangzhou If Traveling from Hong Kong?

Visa needed for Singaporean?

Hi, traveling to Hongkong in December. Decided to have a day trip to Guangzhou via High Speed Rail. As a Singaporean do I need to apply Visa in advance? Based on pointer 4 above, it seem like we still need to apply visa in advance. Thanks all.

Hi, the 15-day visa-free transit policy has resumed to Singaporean passport holders, so you don't need any visa.

Thanks for the info! Do you happen to know is there any test needed before entering? There is an article on Hongkong High Speed Rail website stated they will need to check for nucleic acid test result verification and Mainland health declaration. Are you able to advise on this too?

Nucleic acid test is not necessary now but you may need to fill out the health declaration.

Hi, I just entered guangzhou. No visa and health declaration is needed. Just take note that both Hongkong and China immigration is at Hongkong West Kowloon Station. Do arrive at least 1.5-2hrs earlier before your train departure. As you will need to fill a manual arrival card after getting past hongkong checkpoints. The waiting time at China checkpoints takes about 30-40min as there is only 1 counter for foreign visitor when we were there at around 7am. Hope the info helps.

Hi, there is only 1/2 counter open at China checkpoint. For Hongkong checkpoint there is about 5. When you re enter to Hongkong you will need to fill up the arrival form again. It took us about 40mins for the entire clearance
