About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Moscow - Guangzhou - Abu Dhabi - Geneva

Hi, so my question is regarding the 72h transit visa: If I am frying from Moscow to Guangzhou with Aeroflot or Air China, and leave Guangzhou 72h later to Abu Dhabi then Geneva with Etihad (so 2 different tickets and 2 different airlines), am I eligible for the 72h transit visa?

If you have mentioned all the stops within your itinerary, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in entire Guangdong province. It is perfectly fine to fly on separate tickets and unrelated airlines. It is the itinerary that matters. Also, I encourage you to use correct terminology, this is not a visa, but visa free transit and 144 hours has replaced 72 hours years ago.
