About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2x 24h free visa - is it possible?

Hi Borut!

I'll be in China (Bejing airport) for ~12/15h twice, during transit flights. My first arrival will be on 31st Dec 2023 and the second arrival will be on 20th Jan 2024. I'd like to visit use both of my transit windows to visit The Great Wall and the Forbidden City. Do you know if I can get 24h visa at the airport twice?

Slawek, I have already answered to your questions on the forum related to 72 hour visa free transit...

Here you have written a bit more regarding your layover and now I can say that your chances are relatively good because your layovers are quite long... In any case, you should definitely apply for a temporary entry permit immediately upon your landing in Beijing. By the way, there is no such thing as 24 hour free visa because this is 24 hour visa free transit and the permit to exit the airport is called temporary entry permit that is obtained at 24/144 hour visa free transit counter that you have to visit first.
