I’m a Sri Lankan passport holder. I live in the UK. I booked the flight ticket from London to Sri Lanka and it has 6 hour transit in China (Shanghai) In the return ticket it has 19 hours transit. Should I apply for the transit visa ?

You are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit, so no visa is needed.
