24h Entry with a turkish stamp

Hi, we are planning a trip to Taiwan stopping over in Shanghai for 23 h.
We have german passports but with an entry stamp from Turkey.
We have read somewhere that is possible to get declined with these stamps in the passport.
Is that true? Could they deny us the entry because we went to Turkey?
Thanks in advance

Turkey entry stamp is not a problem as it used to be, so travel relaxed. You will just tell, if asked, that you were in Turkey for tourism or shopping purposes. Since your layover is 23 hours long, you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa.

Upon landing in Shanghai, you will first approach 24/144 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit to be allowed to exit the airport. This application is for free and I strongly encourage you to have a printout of your accommodation booking confirmation for the hotel in Shanghai. After a short check of your documents and your ticket for Taipei, you will be allowed to exit the airport.
