About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Transit in Guangzhou

Hi! I am Canadian passport holder with a flight from Manila to Sanya via Guangzhou. Do i still need to apply for a transit visa in Guangzhou?

If you need to transit in Guangzhou first and the fly to Sanya, the Hainan 30-day visa-free access is not available and you need to obtain a Chinese tourist visa in advance. It is only available by a direct flight from abroad.
