transit time at pvg

Question

Hi. We are flying CPH->PVG->ICN with a 2,5 hour layover in PVG. We do not have a through ticket, so need to check in again in PVG. Is this enough time to clear immigrations and recheck?If we will only have carry on luggage, would we then be able to stay airside (and check us selves in to ICN airside) so we would not have to go through immigration and custom?

I'm afraid the time is too tight if you have to reclaim your luggage.

Thank you for the reply. It sounds a bit worrying… do you think our chances are better if we do not check luggage but only have carry on? Our flights arrives and leaves from the same terminal.Do you know if we can get the boarding passes for PVG-ICH without passing immigration?

Yes, it is better if you don't need to collect your luggage. You may still need to pass immigration, but I'm not so sure about this.
