About:Visa on Arrival

Shenzhen VOA for Indonesian passport

Hello,
I have Indonesian passport
I will stay in hongkong for a week and would like to visit Shenzhen for a day.
Can I get a VOA for Shenzhen? In the mid of November I am planning to go there.

Some Indonesian passport holders have been rejected before so it is hard to say. Just in case, it is better to apply for a Chinese visa in advance.

I just reject by imigration in shenzhen at border and highspeed in hongkong by China Imigration so finally i lost my book hotel in Shenzhen for 2 nite and lost cost transport by MRT n High Speed Train so Thing Again if you want come to Shenzhen n City in China and if you holding indonesia pasport becareful you will get discrimination as foreigner or asian country

Alex, Indonesians and many others were warned against taking their chances by relying on Shenzhen visa on arrival. It is sometimes similar to a roulette game, so not advised. If only you have read so many warnings on this forum where we constantly warn people from many countries to postpone their trip or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance, you would not have to complain about discrimination or similar. I am sorry that you were rejected, but this is something that will, unfortunately, happen to many because they refuse to inform themselves ahead of time.
