About:Visa on Arrival

VOA for Philippine Passport Holder for travel reasons

Hello,

We are planning to travel from Shenzhen to Spain in January. My partner is Philippine Passport Holder. Can she get the VOA ? We all need to flight from Shenzhen Airport to Spain for family reunion.

This is a delicate question and, trust me, nobody will want to answer you with certainty because the success rate for obtaining Shenzhen VOA for Philippine passport holders is relatively low. However, when you arrive at the border and it should be definitely the day before your flight, and present your tickets that will clearly show that you are flying from Shenzhen to Spain (I assume Barcelona), your chances will increase to nearly certain success. Also, have in mind that your flight from Shenzhen to Spain is not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China!

Now, it is up to you to take your chances by obtaining a Shenzhen VOA, although I am certain you will be granted this visa, or you will play a safe bet and obtain a transit visa in advance.

One question more... Do you plan to arrive to Shenzhen from Hong Kong or you fly into Shenzhen from the Philippines?
