Vietnam passport holder transit in Shenzhen

I will take the flight from Germany to Vietnam and transit in Shenzhen Bao'an, layover time is 18 hours, can I apply or a visa on arrival at the airport or do I have to apply visa in advance? Thank you

If you only stop in Shenzhen, you are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit.
