About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

South African Passport Holder

Hi,
I am looking to fly from London - Shanghai - Jeju Island and then my return will be Seoul - Shanghai - London.
On my return I am hoping to stay overnight at Shanghai airport in preparation for the next day's early flight to London. Will I qualify for a 24hr transit visa?

In fact, if you don't have any other stops, your two itineraries are both eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit.

Also, it is important to mention that this is not a transit visa, but a travel without a visa. There is no any kind of visa at all. Also, with your itinerary, if you want, you could have stayed for up to 144 hours visa free.
