About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

Tourist VISA for 2 x South Africans Travel to CHINA in 2024

My friend and I based close to Durban, South Africa wish to travel to China for a 2 month holiday between March and April 2024 from Johannesburg to Beijing on Singapre Airlines
Please kindly provide me all relevant forms, requirements and advise. Do you need me to purchase the air-ticket and provide proof of holiday hotel accommodation
Please advise me of the legitimate China government tourist application via website as I need to download the forms - There are so many websites and am unsure which is a scam - PLEASE ADVICE ME OF THE COST TO TRAVEL WITHIN CHINA FOR 2 MONTHS

This is the official website of China Visa Application Service Center in Durban: visaforchina.cn/DUR2_EN/
You can get all the info needed for the visa application, like documents required (including round-trip flight tickets adn hotel bookings), step-by-step guidance, fees and more.

You need to fill in the application form here: cova.mfa.gov.cn, print it up and sign it.
Before going to the Centre to lodge the submission, you also need to make an appointment here: avas.mfa.gov.cn

You'd better prepare for at least CNY500-600 per day for the visit in China.
