About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover Of 18hrs At Shanghai

I Am Travelling To Australia In October From Kigndom With Indian Passport.So My Question Is:
Do I Need A Visa For The Layover To Go Out And Enjoy The Beautiful Sight Seeing Of Shanghai.What Will Be Procees?
Or Else
Is It Allowed For Indian Passport For 24hr Free Visa?
Any Guidance Or Support Would Be Appreciated.

If you have no other stops in China, you are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit and you can get out of the airport by acquiring a temporary entry permit.
