Q1 Visa for spouse
I am a German national (with German Passport) living in Tianjin, China with a Residence Permit valid until 2028 because of my Job.
Soon, I am getting married with my wife who is a citizen from Kosovo (Kosovo passport) and who is also currently living in Kosovo.
Our plan is for her to move to Tianjin and live with me. For this reason we would like to apply for a Chinese Q1 Visa for her, as she will be my spouse soon.
I already contacted the responsible Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, as they are mainly responsible for Kosovo nationals Visa issues. Unfortunately, they informed me that the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade ONLY gives out Business Visas to Kosovo nationals. They are not able to issue any other Visas at this point.
So my question is, if it is possible to apply for a Q1 Visa for a Kosovo Passport in another Chinese Embassy or directly in China?
