Apply for temporary permit to leave airport

Hi, travel through Guangzhou with 15 hours stop over from Australia to Malaysia with malaysian passport. Is there a temporary permit for me to exit the airport for a quick tour or short stay at airport surrounding?

Yes, upon landing, you can go to the 24/144-hour visa free transit counter to apply for a temporary stay permit to leave the airside.
