About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

How much travel is allowed with a Beijing 144 h visa ?

I am wondering if there is any travel restrictions for a Beijing 144 h visa? E.g. Can I leave Being to take a high speed train to Northeast Asia or do I have to stay around Beijing and Tianjin?

You can only stay in the wider Beijing area, including Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province.

As it says in the article above, "Tourists qualifying for the 144-hour free transit can move freely in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei". Otherwise you need a Chinese visa.
