About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72/144 Hour Transit Visa

Hi, I was wondering if any of the following routes count for the 72/144 hour transit:

1. London Heathrow > Shanghai Pudong (a couple of hours layover) > Tokyo Narita > Tokyo Haneda > Beijing (for a few days) > London Gatwick

2. London Heathrow > Beijing (for a few days) > Tokyo > Shanghai (layover for a few hours) > London Gatwick

Thanks

Both itineraries are eligible for 24 or 144 hours visa-free transit. 72 hours was abolished several years ago.

Thank you.

If I have a layover HK, does this count as a city in China?

The route is Tokyo > HK > Beijing > London

Thanks again

It doesn't affect your visa-free transit, and your itinerary is still eligible.
