About:Shenzhen Travel

entry via train from hong kong

Can I take train to Shenzhen from Hong Kong and enter with 144 hour visa - I am USA - no Chinese Visa ... or do I have to fly to Shenzhen. thank you

To make use of 144-hour visa free transit, you can only fly into Shenzhen, but there is no flight from HK to Shenzhen, so you need to fly to Guangzhou and then travel on to Shenzhen.

You can more easily make use of Shenzhen VOA. But please know that it also does not allow arriving by train from HK; you can travel by MTR or ferry instead.
