About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

3 hours layover at Shanghai

I have 3 hours layover in Shanghai between my flights (UK - Japan) and no plans for leaving the airport or needing to claim my luggage (same airline for both flights). Do I still need to apply for 24-hour visa-free transit?

You are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit. If you don't plan to get out of the airport, you don't need to apply for any permit.
