Q1 visa

Greetings. I'm willing to join my girlfriend {fiancee but don't have any paper to prove that} in China, I used to study in China and left after coronavirus, she will go to China as an English teacher and she needs me there for support, can I know if I am eligible for the Q1 visa and what kind of documents I need, thanks

I'm afraid you are not eligible for Q1 visa and you may only apply for a tourist visa.

thank you for replying and helping us, actually, we are gonna get our marriage certificate next week, will it assist for me to go with my wife to China on a Q1 visa? She is a Canadian English teacher, and she got her job offer

If you have the marriage certificate, then applying for an S visa is possible. Q visa is for families of those holding permanent Chinese resident permit.
