About:China Tourist Visa

Do we need a visa for visits to multiple cities from a cruise ship?

We are on a Holland America cruise in 2024 with the following itinerary:
Tianjin, arrives 12 noon March 7, leaves 6 pm March 8
Dalian, arrives 9 am March 9, leaves 6 pm March 9
Shanghai, arrives 8 am March 12, leaves 6 pm March 13

Do we need a visa? If so, what kind of visa should we get?
Thank you!

Yes, you need a visa and you need a multiple-entry one.
