About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a layover of around 7 hours at Shanghai airport in between my travel from Japan to London.

My understanding is, I don't need any visa, nor would I have time to exit the airport. Do I need any covid test or other documentation though? Please let me know if you are aware. Thanks.

Generally, you don't need any visa or other document. It is better to prepare a DIY antigen test.
