About:China Visa on Arrival

Can I use VOA to stay in Zhuhai when crossing over from Macau via Gongbei?

I am making plans to travel there and booked a hotel from a Friday to Monday for a holiday plan. However, I see that the VOA only last 3 days, in this case if the days count from the next day, would my 3 nights stay be valid?

I will leave on the Monday afternoon back to Hong Kong. Also, will a Singaporean passport be valid to obtain the VOA?

Yes, you can. Gongbei crossing is eligible way to enter Zhuhai without any doubt and Singaporean passport is also eligible for Zhuhai VOA.

Your plan to enter Zhuhai on Friday and to exit on Monday is fine because the 3 days start counting from 00:00 the day following the entry date or in your case on Saturday. You have right to stay in Zhuhai until Monday 24:00.

You are allowed to take a ferry or a bus to Hong Kong without any doubt. You do not have to return to Macau any more.
