About:Visa on Arrival

Italian Travel to Shenzhen

I am holding an Italian passport and want to go to Shenzhen for less than 5 days. I will fly from Vietnam to Shenzhen. So can I apply for the VOA when I reach to Shenzhen?

Recent feedback says that Shenzhen airport is not offering visas on arrival. So, you are advised to use 144 hour visa free transit instead. To be able to use 144 hour visa free transit, you will just need a flight out of Shenzhen or Guangzhou to a third country or you can exit to Hong Kong or Macau by ferry from Shekou port in Shenzhen.

Please, have in mind that for both options (plane or ferry), you will have to buy your tickets in advance, print them out and have them with you. Also, you will have to take exactly that plane or ferry you have bought your tickets in advance or better to say, before your arrival in China.
