About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

I am Italian and my wife is South African

Dears, I got married last year and my wife is also doing the permesso di soggiorno in Italy.
I would like to know if she can be entitle with the transit visa as me by any chance?

If she still holds South African passport holder, she is only eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit and doesn't qualify other visa-free schemes.
