I'm sorry but this is not eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit. If you only need to visit SZ, then you can take a ferry from HK to SZ to get a 5-day visa on arrival at Shekou Port. Remember to get there early to queue up and the opening hour is 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

It is still not eligible for 144-hour visa-free transit as your itinerary is a return trip between HK and SZ. So you have obtain a 5-day VOA.

Also, it is important to mention that you cannot enter Shenzhen by train in order to obtain a Shenzhen VOA. You will have to take one of overland border crossings between Hong Kong and Shenzhen or even better by ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen. Just be informed about the visa office opening hours at Shekou port: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

You can exit Shenzhen in direction to Hong Kong by high speed train without any problem.
