can I get a 144 hour visa free if I travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen international airport by train

No, this is not eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.

In order to be eligible for this, visa free transit scheme, you will have to fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and then take a ferry from Shekou port in Shenzhen to Macau. The reason is simple... The only eligible way to enjoy 144 hour visa free transit scheme in entire Guangdong province is to arrive by air.

If you decide to use this option, you will have to buy also your ferry ticket in advance, print it out and have it with you. Also, you will really have to take exactly that ferry you have bought your ticket for before your departure toward mainland China.

As there are no further sailings from Shekou to Macau - how to go to Macau? Is it good taking a car to the border China / Macau (144 hours visa free)

Actually, this is really not a good choice as it is hard for you to get a bus ticket before you board your flight to China, which is required by 144-h visa-free transit.

If my friend (Chinese citizen - living in Goungzhou) is able to get the bus ticket and send it to me by email as a scan or pdf - am I OK?

Why do you think that Shekou to Macau ferry is discontinued. If you take a look at TurboJet website you will clearly see that the ferries between Shekou and Macau are operational. I do not recommend a bus between Guangzhou and Macau.
