Documents requirement

I was told ticket is not compulsory to apply for the Visa. This is my first time applying china visa. I want to apply for multiple entries 12 months with regular application. Please advice me.

If you are applying for an L visa (tourist visa), you can generally have a stay duration of 30 days. Flight tickets and hotel orders are must unless you have an invitation letter.

Only visa like Q1 visa (family reunion visa), S visa (private visit visa), and X visa (student visa) can have a duration of 12 months.

i did have the invitation letter. Still need flight ticket? I will go to china for 8 days next month and will need to apply multiple visa for 12 months as i will go there many times. Any other documents that i need?

For a tourist visa, an invitation letter is enough and flight tickets are not must. However, you can not get a so long validity period. So you'd better change the visa type and requirements will also change accordingly.

The invitation letter is for business purpose (Business cooperation). I will need multiple entries until end of this year because during its validity i will visit china multiple times. what visa should i apply.

You can then apply for a multiple-entry business visa valid for one year.

It's not very possible if this is your first time to apply. Anyway, just choose the 2 years when filling in the application form and it's the consular staff who will make the final decision.
