No, you definitely don't. You will travel quite normally between Dongguan and Shenzhen and after Shenzhen to any other town within mainland China. Since you are already in China on a regular visa, Shenzhen is for you just another usual, Chinese city. There are no any controls between Shenzhen and other Chinese cities. You were probably confused with so called Shenzhen visa on arrival, but this is valid only for those arriving from Hong Kong or Macau and who do not have usual Chinese visa. They can obtain it on the border crossing between Hong Kong and Macau and Shenzhen, but with that particular visa, they are limited to just 5 days stay and that stay can be only used within Shenzhen city limits. Of course, they could exit from Shenzhen area, but if cought, they would be fined and deported from the country.

To conclude, you do not have to think about Shenzhen as anything special... Fo you it is equal to Guangzhou, Dongguan and hundreds os other Chinese cities. Have a nice trip.

Thank you very much!
I plan to go from Shenzhen to Hong Kong and back the same way - Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Dongguan.

Well, if you are already in China, one entry from your double entry visa is what are you using right now. When you exit to Hong Kong, your first entry is over. Only the second is left... So, when you enter Shenzhen from Hong Kong, the second entry will be used, but since this is not a Shenzhen limited visa, you can travel all around China. However, you cannot obtain a Shenzhen visa in order to sace your second entry because it is impossible to have two concurrent Chinese visa in a passport.
