About:Visa on Arrival

Visa on arrival for Indonesian

Hi, I'm an Indonesian passport holder. I notice that Indonesia is not on the list of "ineligible" for VOA, but just to make sure, can Indonesian passport holders get VOA in Shenzhen?

Unfortunately, recent feedback says that Indonesian citizens are currently ineligible for Shenzhen VOA. Hopefully, this will be resolved in the near future, but at the time being, you are advised to postpone your planned visit.

No, unfortunately not even in that case. Nobody knows what is exactly happening, but it might be that the Chinese authorities are doing this because of the above than expected demand for Shenzhen VOA and they simply cannot cope with that with actual number and the working hours of their visa offices.
