About:Visa on Arrival

Shenzhen VOA quota

I heard the recent VOA tightening might be due to Golden Week last week, so hopefully the VOA situation will improve.

If we are stuck in HK theoretically and can't get a VOA into Shenzhen, is there a last minute workaround to get in?

It could be really because of the Golden Week... We will see...

You are advised to use a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen. Please, just take care about the opening hours of local visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
