About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

times allowed in China

My visa "enter before" date is 17th May 2023, and I am allowed to stay in China 30 days after entry. Does this mean I can stay beyond May 17th as long as it is not more than 30 days after my final entry?
