About:Visa on Arrival

Do I need to provide urgent reason for entry? Can it be visiting family and friends?

Hello, do we need to provide specific reasons with invitations letter to apply for VOA in Shenzhen? Can the reasons be tourism and visiting family and friends? We are Germany passport holders.

Tourism and visitig family & friends is perfectly legitimate and eligible reason to be granted Shenzhen VOA. You are advised to use Luohu (Lo Wu) border crossing, but have in mind that the visa office is open just until 16:30. Also, do not forget to bring PCR/antigen test not older than 48 hours.
