About:Visa on Arrival

1 day trip to Shenzhen

Hi
I’m visiting Hong Kong from UK and in the past I have frequently got a single entry visa to go Shenzhen at Lo Wu border at visa office. Just for shopping 1 day trip. I have UK passport.
Is this still possible? I’ve heard it’s not allowed at the moment. But isn’t it same as 5 day visa on arrival? Thanks

Actually, you were obtaining so called Shenzhen visas in the past and even now they are usually called by this same name. In other words, we are talking about the same visa. So, you can get it now at Luohu as it was possible in the past, but be warned that the opening hours of the visa office at Luohu are just until 16:30 and UK citizens are required to pay 304 CNY for Shenzhen visa issuing.
