About:Visa on Arrival

Belgian citizen visa on arrival

I am a Belgian citizen who will travel from Bangkok to Hongkong in May. I want to visit our partner factory in Shenzhen for 1-2 days from Hongkong. Is it correct that I don't need to apply for a Chinese visa beforehand and can just go for the Chinese visa on arrival?

yes, you can just apply for the 5 days visa. make sure to not leave shenzhen area. you never know...

Just to add that you are advised to travel to Luohu border crossing and have in mind that visa office is open just until 16:30. This visa is called Shenzhen 5 days visa.

One more question, I am going for business. Does that mean I have to prepare any invitation letter from my business partner in Shenzhen?

The invitation letter is not a must. Actually, there is even no need to mention that you are there for business.
