About:Visa on Arrival

Korean Passport holder coming from HK

Hi there. I am a Korean citizen living in HK. Can I get Shenzhen VOA these days? I am considering going to Luohu Port. May I ask how long I should wait at the visa office to get it?

You are perfectly fine and you will be granted a visa. It is now very hard to predict the waiting time, but I would say that, at the moment, about 30 minutes will be the maximum needed time you will spend in the office.

China has withdrawn the VOA for Koreans in retaliation for covid restrictions placed on Chinese nationals entering Korea. My gf was told this by immigration today at Kowloon Central, I spent a lot of time in immigration offices today 😅
