About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

144 HOUR GUANGZHOU VISA FREE TRANSIT

Hi, I am a Singaporean.
Can I travel from
1) Singapore to HONG KONG
2) HONG KONG TO Guangzhou (Baiyun)
3) GUANGZHOU TO HONG KONG
4) THEN HONG KONG BACK TO SINGAPORE ?

For this route, am I eligible for the 144-hour VISA-free transit?

Edwin, you can do it in a more creative way to become eligibel for 144 hours visa free transit.

You can fly from Hong Kong to Gunagzhou and then return to Macau by ferry (catamaran operated by TurboJet) from Shenzhen Shekou port. Like this, you will be eligible for 144 hours visa free transit:

Hong Kong - Guangzhou - Macau

After you have reached Macau, you can proceed by ferry from Macau back to Hong Kong. Please, just have in mind that you have to arrive in Guangzhou with already bought (confirmed) ferry (catamaran) ticket for Shenzhen Shekou to Macau ferry.
