About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour transit in Guangzhou

Hi there,
Considering traveling from NZ to the canton far. Would NZ - Guangzhou - NZ quality for the 144 hour free visa? Would only be in Guangzhou for 72 hours.

Just by reading the condition, I believe this route does not qualify: NZ - Guangzhou - NZ

Probably you need to add a stopover in HongKong or Taiwan: e.g. NZ - Guangzhou - HongKong - NZ
