About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Visa Free Transit Policy

I am trying to contact some Chinese airlines to confirm that they allow Visa-free transit. Cathay-Pacific said that I would have to contact the local immigration services but I read that I need to verify with the carrier. Do you know specific airlines that will allow me to fly with this policy? Do you have any official documentation regarding this policy to prove that it is allowed?

Additional question. If I want to travel from and back to Taipei, can I just schedule a layover in Hong Kong or Macau as a third country?

Most China airlines allow the policy, so you may use them. You can use Hong Kong and Macao as the third country/region. Good luck~
