About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel from Hong Kong to Vietnam by Train

I want to travel from Hong Kong to Vietnam By Train / Bus. I hold an Irish Passport. Do i need a full visa for this or can i do it on a visa free transit

What's your route in detailss? As I know, there is no direct train from Hong Kong to Vietnam.

In the case, you need a regular visa. But I'm afraid it's not an easy thing to get one at present. As I know, China has not opened its border to tourists yet.
