About:China Talent Visa

Is a Ph.D in Mathematics and 5 published academic papers enough for applying for R visa.

I've published 2 academic papers in artificial intelligence before Ph.D, then a Ph.D in Computational And Applied Mathematics with 3 more academic papers. Is this enough to be a High Level Foreign Talent? Is there a list of skills under High Level Foreign Talent? What is the minimum salary for R visa?

John, you can ask your employer to check at the local exit and entry administration if you qualify for applying for a R visa. There is no list of skills under High Level Foreign Talent and there is no minimum salary for R visa holders.

Hello John,

Firstly you need to apply for a Confirmation Letter for High Level Foreign Talents in China, then using this letter to apply for R visa at your local Chinese embassy.
I can send some info about the application condition and how to apply if you want.
