About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Authorization of documents by Chinese Embassy for Z Visa application

Can I send in my diploma, background check, and a teaching certificate for authorization through the mail or scan it to the embassy? I need them in order to start my Z-Visa process for my new job. Thank you.
