About:China Work Visa

Authorization by Chinese Consulate no longer required?

According to the China Visa Service Centre in Australia, Z visa applicants no longer need to have their documents (e.g. diplomas, etc.) authorized by a Chinese Embassy/Consulate - they just need the Apostille. I wonder if the same applies to the Police check.

"As from November 7, 2023, any public documents when properly executed in Australia within the scope of the Convention, can be sent to Chinese mainland for use with the APOSTILLE issued by the competent authority of Australia from which the document emanates, and the consular legalisation from the Australian side and the Chinese Embassy and  Consulates-General in Australia are no longer required."

Yes, it is generally included in the documents and it is no longer required to authorize.
