About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Approval of visa

If my passport has been retained by the Chinese Embassy in South Africa after an interview for a temporary renewal, does it mean that my visa has been approved? In other words, can my passport be kept by the embassy for 3 weeks if there was a chance of denial?

Dear, it's hard to say. To be honest, even if your passport is kept by the embassy for 3 weeks, there is a chance of visa denial.
