Renewing passport and ID national card

Thank you for responding me , please it's urgent!
Well, my visa expires 29 October before my passport expires ( April 2021).
I contacted my Moroccan embassy in China, they informed me that I can't renew my passport because of my ID card expired , so, I have to renew both of them , that might take a long time ,and the person who is in charge isn't present ,he ll come within the following two months, they suggest me to extend my visa, at least I still have months and 22 days , and for that they send Entry/Exit office a verbal note as an exception that they may take a time for processing my documents .
My question: is it right what's happening to me? Do really I need to extend my visa normally, without any issue , seen that they ve sent a note by gmail,
Another point my university are requesting for demanding the original copy of the note !
