Passport Less than SIX Months Validity

I received my admission notice from one of the Chinese university with my passport number on it. but due to delay to start my study in Chine caused by pandemic my passport has less than 6 months to expire now. please what will i do because Chinese embassy may likely need a passport validity of 6 months or above to enable me get a visa. Thank you,. Waiting for your feedback

Henry, you need to renew your passport first. Then ask the university to issue you a new admission notice.
