About:China Visa

Visa extension

I came in China on february 2020 with x2 visa which expires on august 10th, but the PSB office said i can use my 2 months extension which will make my visa end of october 2020 instead. Do i need to apply for a stay permit then get an extension? i don't have a residence permit.

I think the officer refers to the 2-month automatic visa extension. You just need to confirm that you are eligible. If yes, you don't need to do anything to get it.
